On Monday 28 April 2025, we hosted a half day online event alongside expert speakers, sharing crucial updates on scheme changes for Year 7.
It was great to be joined by 675 attendees including representatives from NHS trusts, and regional and national teams, all with an interest in maternal and neonatal safety.
The webinar was a great success and initial feedback we’ve received has been positive.
Some of the highlights from the day included:
- Chief Midwifery Officer Kate Brintworth’s opening talk set the perfect tone, emphasising that MIS is a supportive tool and not a tick-box exercise for improving safety.
- Expert speakers shared valuable insights and experiences, bringing the safety actions and expectations to life.
- NHS Resolution’s strong presence showcased its wide-ranging support for Trusts beyond just handling claims.
- The event highlighted NHS Resolution’s role in prevention, helping build safer, more resilient services.
