The Pharmacy Appeals Committee (“the Committee”) is responsible for determining appeals regarding the grant or refusal of an application for inclusion in a pharmaceutical list. The Committee may, but need not, be composed wholly or partly of NHS Resolution officers. Where appeals are decided on the basis of the written submissions, that is without an oral hearing, it is usually chaired by the Head of Appeals.
