Justine Sharpe Bsc (Hons), MPA, RD, joined NHS Resolution as the Safety and Learning Lead for London in 2016. In this role she supports the delivery of a service that extracts learning from claims as a catalyst for patient and staff safety improvements across England. She has led on a range of projects improving triangulation of claims learning with our data insights. Justine has also helped create learning material to support improvements in mental health, emergency department, learning disabilities, workplace violence, maternity care, witnesses at inquest and consent. She is also responsible for supporting collaboration with partner organisations to share information pertaining to claims-related safety issues and learning and contribute to the development of tailored safety intelligence and profiles for members.
Justine started her career as a dietitian, specialising in paediatrics. Notably co-founding a national paediatric allergy group, acting as public relation representative and providing nutritional analysis for private health care menus. Before joining NHS Resolution, Justine spent 12 years as senior manager, head of service and general manager roles in acute hospital trusts and as consultant dietitian for private health sector.
Justine is currently training as a patient safety specialist.
