Martin is the Learning and Organisational Development (OD) Manager for Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Here, he is accountable for leadership development, career development, appraisal processes, organisational change and induction.
Martin ran his own OD consultancy for many years before working with the NHS. His clients included Oracle, Shell Oil, Royal Bank of Scotland, Blackwells Publishing, The Ministry of Defence and Birmingham City Council.
In his spare time, he volunteers as a Board Director of the UK Board of Healthcare Chaplains. He’s an accredited non-religious chaplain providing spiritual support in His Majesty’s Prison Service to prisoners and staff.
