Profile
Manda joined the Practitioner Performance Advice service in January 2017. She provides strategic and operational leadership in relation to the primary care workforce agenda, with a particular focus on new models of care. Her expertise is in the management of independent primary care contractors and the interpretation and operation of the NHS Performers Lists Regulations, and of the Medical Profession (Responsible Officers) Regulations as they apply to GPs
Manda splits her time between NHS Resolution and the NHS England national team where she works as the Head of Professional Standards and National Performers Lists.
Prior to her move to the Practitioner Performance Advice service, she was Deputy Director of Primary Care in a Primary Care Trust where she developed and managed the development and delivery of Personal Medical Services contracts, the new dental contract and prison health services when it transitioned to the NHS. She is a trained GP appraiser, an accredited mediator and an accredited investigator. She is an experienced case manager and has managed many primary care performers list cases over the last 15 years in the south of England and the Channel Islands.
