NHS Resolution is delighted to be launching an indemnity scheme for General Practice for clinical incidents occurring on or after 1st April 2019. This will be known as the Clinical Negligence Scheme for General Practice, or CNSGP. Further information can be found here on a dedicated webpage which will be updated regularly as further details of the scheme are available.
The announcement on General practice indemnity is included in Investment and evolution: A five-year framework for GP contract reform, agreed by NHS England and the British Medical Association, and published on 31 January 2019.
