The Safety & Learning Team hosted the South Region Members Networking Forum on Wednesday 11th December 2024.
Speakers included Naomi Assame, NHS Resolution Deputy Director of Safety & Learning who presented the recently published ‘Learning from Workplace Violence’ report and Abigail Fogarty, NHS Resolution Associate Safety & Learning Lead for London who presented a related illustrative case story.
We were joined by Phil Meakin, the Head of Clinical Quality & Improvement and Louise Jane, a Senior Clinical Quality Improvement Manager from NHS England who shared an update on the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework.
And lastly by Neil Armstrong who is the Casework Systems & Guidance Manager within NHS Resolution’s Practitioner Performance and Advice (PPA) service who gave a presentation on how to address individual practitioner concerns and an overview of the Maternity Team Review offer.
A networking opportunity for members was provided with smaller breakout groups focusing on introduction and discussion on the presentations provided.
