Associate Advisers join to deliver education

Date published:

In July we welcomed six Associate Advisers for Education to the Practitioner Performance Advice team. This small cohort of Associates will collaborate with our established Advice colleagues to deliver educational programmes aimed at building knowledge and capability in handling complex performance cases. They bring expertise and experience from across the private and public sector, including the NHS.

Our new team of Associate Advisers in Education will facilitate evidence-based educational workshops related to the effective management, investigation and resolution of concerns about the performance of doctors, dentists and pharmacists, which is at the core of the Practitioner Performance Advice service.

They will help healthcare organisations build the knowledge and skills needed to identify and manage performance concerns locally, through a range of education programmes, building on the training courses currently on offer. As well as programmes available to individual delegates, our training courses can be run in-house in individual organisations and can be tailored to meet individual requirements, reflecting and responding to the diverse needs of the healthcare environment.

We look forward to using our Associate Advisers’ unique insights to inform and develop the delivery of our education programmes.
