Following the implementation of the General Practice indemnity schemes, which provide primary care clinicians and organisations with cover for clinical negligence claims, we have developed a GPI beneficiary charter to alleviate some of the uncertainties caused during the life of a claim. The purpose of the charter is to clearly set out the level of service that our beneficiaries can expect from NHS Resolution and our panel solicitors, along with what we need from beneficiaries of our schemes. It is intended to be read in conjunction with the claims reporting guidelines and scheme rules.
