NHS Resolution is delighted to announce that Anu Ralhan has been appointed as Non-Executive Director. The appointment has been made by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care today.

Anu has been an independent member of NHS Resolution’s Reserving and Pricing Committee (RPC) since 2021. The RPC is a sub-committee of the NHS Resolution Board.

Anu is a senior manager at the Bank of England and has over 23 years’ experience working as an actuary. He has also worked at HM Treasury as a senior policy advisor.

I am delighted that Anu is joining us as a non-executive director. He has been a valuable and insightful member of our Reserving and Pricing Committee for the last three years. His continued expertise will help us secure public value for money and fair resolution as we manage the future liabilities of the NHS which have resulted from harm.

Sally Cheshire, Chair (NHS Resolution)

The work of NHS Resolution in providing just outcomes where harm has sadly been caused, and on safety and learning, is vital to maintaining confidence in our NHS.  I look forward to supporting the good governance of the organisation.

Anu Ralhan (NHS Resolution)
