
NHS Resolution is pleased to announce that Neena Rupani has been appointed as Associate Non-Executive Director.
With a strong background in economics, Neena brings over 25 years of experience in the telecoms sector to the role, having held various positions in commercial management, pricing, and regulation.
Currently, Neena works in Regulatory Affairs for BT, where she leads on creating and executing regulatory policy and strategy for several BT group-wide strategic projects. Her expertise includes regulatory strategy/policy/engagement, dispute resolution, compliance, governance, and risk management.
Sally Cheshire, Chair of NHS Resolution, said: “We are delighted to welcome Neena to our board as an Associate Non-Executive Director. Her extensive experience in regulatory affairs and governance will be invaluable as we continue our work to provide timely and fair resolution across the NHS.”
In addition to her professional role, Neena serves as Chair of Family Lives, a national family support charity providing helpline and community-based services.

Neena holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics & Economics from the University of Manchester.

Neena Rupani has been appointed for one year from 17 March 2025.
The appointment will involve a time commitment of around two to three days per month. Neena will receive a remuneration of £7,883 per annum.
This appointment is made in accordance with the Cabinet Office Code of Governance for Public Appointments. The regulation of public appointments against the requirements of this Code is carried out by the Commissioner for Public Appointments.
This appointment is made on merit and political activity played no part in the decision process. However, in accordance with the Code, there is a requirement for appointees’ political activity (if any declared) to be made public. Neena Rupani has not declared any political activity.
