Sangita Bodalia, Head of Early Notification (Legal) at NHS Resolution, has won the Civil Lawyer Award at the Asian Legal Awards 2024 on 30 November.

Sangita was nominated due to her work with her colleagues and healthcare partners to drive forward the Early Notification Scheme which enables an earlier investigation of compensation entitlement for serious brain injury and for learning to be shared back rapidly with the NHS.

Speaking about her win Sangita said, “I am deeply humbled and honoured to have been named Civil Lawyer of the Year at the Asian Legal Awards 2024. Sharing this recognition with such talented individuals in our profession was truly inspiring. This award is a testament to the incredible work of my team at NHS Resolution, whose dedication to innovation, early resolution, and patient-centred care drives meaningful change. I couldn’t have achieved this without their support, nor without the guidance of mentors and my family, who have always stood by me.Sangita Talati Bodalia with her Asian Legal award
