NHS Resolution reappoints two Non-Executive Directors to its Board whilst future recruitment gets underway

NHS Resolution is delighted to announce that Nigel Trout has been reappointed as a Non-Executive Director following his first three-year term on our board.  Nigel, who spent his career within the banking and professional services sectors, first joined the board of NHS Resolution in April 2018.

Alongside Nigel, another existing NED, Professor Keith Edmonds, a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, has agreed to remain on NHS Resolution’s board for a further six months whilst recruitment for a new Non-Executive Directors takes place.

“I’m delighted that both Nigel and Keith will continue to bring their experience and insights to the fore on our behalf, as NHS Resolution further evolves to meet rapidly changing needs in the NHS,” says Martin Thomas, Chair of NHS Resolution.

NHS Resolution is currently recruiting for two new Non-Executive Directors to join its board; one appointment will bring senior experience of maternity services and the other the conduct and management of clinical negligence claims.  Applications for both roles is through HM Government Public Appointments and will be open until 14 June 2021.  The full advert can be viewed here.
