NHS Resolution is celebrating some of the remarkable talent within the organisation in recognition of International Women’s Day today.
The theme for this year’s celebration is “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a Covid-19 world.” The past year has posed significant challenges for everyone, not least across the NHS, and the inspirational leadership demonstrated by so many female colleagues across the organisation has contributed to us winning the battle against Covid-19, step by step. Everyone has had their part to play.
We’re taking the opportunity to celebrate some of the truly inspirational women within NHS Resolution, who have taken some time to talk about what it means to them to be a part of the NHS family and the #EveryDayCourage they’ve often had to show to face some big challenges along their career journey.
Prerana Issar, NHS Chief People Officer and Samantha Allen, chair of the NHS Confederation’s Health & Care Women Leaders Network, will be co-hosting a virtual event to mark International Women’s Day 2021. The event is free to attend and is open to women and their allies in health and care whatever their role, grade, ethnicity, gender identity, disability or sexual orientation. The programme for the day is designed to fit around busy working lives, so delegates are welcome to take part in as much or little of the event as they want to.
The theme for the day is #EverydayCourage in tribute to the courage being demonstrated by women in health and care during these extraordinary times.
